Placed in the picturesque village of Hellidon, Northamptonshire, The Red Lion is part of the Freespirit Pubs family. A beautiful village pub with six quirky letting rooms and a self catering cottage. With Daventry, Banbury and Rugby all within close proximity, this cosy country kitchen is perfectly situated if you want to relax and unwind.

We pride ourselves on our freshly prepared food, intuitive service and above all – welcoming hospitality. We are dog friendly too, so be sure to bring along your furry friend!

Rooms

The Cottage

Two bedroom cottage with large lounge/ diner, kitchen perfect for a small family or a group of friends get together for a weekend. You can be completely self contained or enjoy our wonderful pub right next door.

Sleeps up to 4 people, 2 bathrooms, Large flat screen TV, Wifi and a small sofa bed in lounge to accommodate a 5th adult/child if required.

The Cottage If you require any additional camp beds / sofa bed for children please contact us directly. Please note, this cottage is self-catering (breakfast not included).

Double

Tawny room – another of our dog-friendly rooms. Offering plenty of light and space, this room has peaceful views of the lake opposite and has a sumptuous double size bed, the perfect haven for two of you to put up your feet and relax.

Napoleon is situated over the front of the pub, this room offers views of Hellidon’s picturesque country fields. Why not find sanctuary in Napoleon’s peaceful and light walls for the perfect countryside getaway.

Ariel is the largest room we have to offer, with its quirky yellow arm chair, this room is perfect for those looking to put their feet up. This brightly decorated room has views overlooking the front of the pub, thus admiring the surrounding fields.

All our rooms are equipped with ensuite shower room, TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities and mini fridge. BREAKFAST (Included in your room rate) During the week (Monday - Friday), we offer a continental breakfast in your room, to be enjoyed at your leisure. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, we offer a full cooked breakfast in the restaurant. Please note, the restaurant and bar close at 6pm on Sunday evening. All of our bedrooms are located on the first floor and are accessible by stairs only.
