Elm Grove Country House B&B: Thank you for your booking - we look forward to seeing you. Please find below some important information; For direct bookings (via our website - www.elmgrovecountryhouse.co.uk ) we take the cost of the first night as a deposit, which is refundable up to 24hrs before arrival (unless it is a non-refundable booking, which are fully payable at the time of booking with no refund available.) For bookings via third party sites (booking.com/hotels.com/expedia etc) - many of these are now processing payments via their sites, with only those opting for "pay at hotel" option being required to pay direct on departure. Final payment on departure can be made by cash sterling, debit card or Visa/MasterCard/Amex. **where applicable - if we are unable to take the pre-payment/validate the card this may result in the reservation being cancelled** Loyalty card discounts or other offers shown on our website are not applicable when booking via online sites such as booking.com – they can only be used on direct bookings (phone, our website or email). Due to the age and design of the house we can only accept children aged 12 yrs plus. We are unable to accommodate babies/toddlers/under 12 years. Please note we do not accept hen/stag or similar groups. We are located 3 miles from Tenby and guests will need their own transport to see the best Pembrokeshire has to offer as we have very limited public bus services which don’t run at all on Sunday or Bank Holidays. A taxi to Tenby costs approx. £20 each way standard rate. This year we will be offering evening meals on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings only - served between 6.30pm and 7.00pm at a cost of £32.50pp for 3 courses and tea/coffee, or £27.50pp for 2 courses. As all meals are cooked to order, and can take up to 2 hours to prepare and cook, to avoid any disappointment and to allow us to place our orders with the butcher/fishmonger we usually email the menu to guests a day or two in advance if they are arriving on a day when we do evening meals. We ask those guests, who would like dinner on their first night (Friday – Monday) , to contact us before 10.00am on the morning of their arrival – to place their order from the menu. If for any reason you don’t receive the menu via e-mail please call us and we can go through the menu with you over the phone. We are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests wishing to dine on their night of arrival if they have not pre-ordered by 10am that morning. Subsequent evening meals can be booked on a day by day basis at breakfast where applicable. Other dining options: there are two pubs in the village which serve food until around 8.30/9pm. There are also various options in Tenby and surrounding villages. Some recommendations can be seen here: http://www.elmgrovecountryhouse.co.uk/dining/** To avoid disappointment, we would highly recommend pre-booking as far in advance as possible as the area may be busy.** • If there are any special dietary requirements (vegetarian, allergies or intolerances i.e. lactose free, gluten free etc) please let us know in advance of your arrival. • We have a bar and wine list available for guests and to allow us to conform to the terms of our license we ask that guests do not bring in their own alcohol from outside Elm Grove. • As detailed on our website & booking sites, we are happy to welcome children over the age of 12 by prior arrangement. We are unable to accommodate children under 12 including babies or toddlers. • We have 2 electric car chargers available – at a cost of £15 per overnight charge. These are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Check-in is between 3pm – 9pm. If you think you’ll be checking in after 9pm please let us know in advance and we can arrange for late check-in up to 9.30pm (which is the latest time we can accept arrivals). Check-out is by 10.30am Elm Grove Country House - SELF CATERING: If booked direct: a refundable deposit of up to 50% is required to book the cottages and any cancellations within 7 days of the arrival date will result in loss of deposit. Final payment is due upon check out (via cash or card) All days booked must be paid for.
