Terms of Booking By placing a booking with us (The Harcourt Arms) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking. - To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. - The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. - Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrivals or any damages. - Only the lead guest and named booking party are allowed to use the facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission. - To secure any booking we require full card details to be taken including the card number, expiry date and security code. Card details are held on file in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Full payment for accommodation will be taken at the time of booking. - Provided The Harcourt Arms is given more than 3 days (72 hours) notice, a full refund will be issued to the card. If it within 3 days (72 hours) you will only receive a partial refund of 50%. - If you cancel your booking on the day you are due to arrive no refund will be given. Please check that the details of your reservation request are complete and accurate before you fully submit. - The Harcourt Arms will not be liable for any delay or non-performance if your information is incorrect. - You will receive a confirmation email to the email address provided from The Harcourt Arms once your reservation request has been accepted. - The Harcourt Arms reserves the right to refuse a reservation request without reason. - You (lead guest) or your booking party (guests) must not resell or transfer your reservation. - You must not market or advertise any accommodation belonging to The Harcourt Arms. The Harcourt Arms will not honour any booking that has been made in this manner and will not accept any liability. - All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance/nuisance to other guests. - We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture, fixtures or fittings. Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key lost. - All fire exits and passageways must be kept free from obstruction at all times. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted anywhere within the accommodation. - Dogs are not permitted within the accommodation with the exception of assistance dogs. Dogs are allowed in the bar area but only assistance dogs are allowed in the restaurant. - Any lost property, if discovered and found left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items. - Guests must check in by 3pm and before 11pm on the day of arrival and check out by 11am on the day of departure. Any leniency regarding these times is at the discretion of The Harcourt Arms and is not guaranteed. - If you will be arriving to the property later than 11pm please contact The Harcourt Arms so they know when to expect you. - Car parking is on a first come first serve basis. Additional car parking spaces can be found in the village. Parking is at your own risk. - The restaurant is open Monday to Sunday inclusive of lunch and dinner. The Harcourt Arms recommends reservations to made in advance to avoid disappointment. For tables of six people or more credit card details will be required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
