You must be at least 16 years old to make a reservation. You will need to provide your credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. The Marquis of Granby accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express to secure a reservation. We hold your details for security purposes and no charge is taken until arrival unless cancelled within the 48 hour window. Please revert to our cancellation policy for further details. Check in: You can arrive at the hotel from 14:00pm, however if you would like to join us earlier please inform reception when making the booking and we will accommodate you if we can. Check out: Departure time is 11am, however if you would like to stay a little later please inform reception and we will accommodate you if we can. Please note; there is a later check-out fee of £25.00. You are welcome to leave your bags with the bar staff; they can store them safely until you return. We reserve the rights to charge guests up to £500.00 for any damages caused while staying with us caused by the occupant. Lost Property: Any property left on the premises will be sent within 28 days to the occupant if contact has been made by either party and item has been found and identified with the customer. If no contact has been made by either the hotel or the customer within the 28 day window, the hotel reserves the right to give the lost property to charity if the item cannot be identified to or by the customer. Room keys: If the keys are not returned on checkout, the customer responsible will be charged for a replacement key or lock if not returned with 10 days. Parking: There is parking available for up to 46 cars on site which we run on a first come, first serve basis. Complaints Policy: Here at The Marquis of Granby we have a positive approach to solving any complaints and ask that if you feel something is not right with your stay that you bring it up with us straight away. A member of our full trained team be happy to deal with any issues you may have and we will always strive to resolve them as quickly as possible to ensure that we cause minimal disruption to your stay. Please be away that certain issues may not be resolvable between the hours of 9pm to 8am. If you have an issue or concerns regarding your stay this MUST be reported during your stay. This gives us the opportunity to resolve any issues DURING your stay. If you do not give us the opportunity to resolve any issues whilst you are with us, we may not be able to deal with your complaint once you have checked out. Please note all telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes and can/will be used as evidence if required. Complaints will not be responded to if sent through social media platforms. This includes messenger, Facebook and Instagram. If you wish to raise a complaint this must be done by email only within 7 days of your stay. After this, a complaint may not be responded to. Occupancy Terms: All rooms, apart from the suite and under special circumstances, accommodate a maximum of 2 people. We ask that your room is only occupied by the number of guests confirmed on the booking. CCTV is in operation for your security and security of the property. We endeavour to creat an enjoyable environment with luxurious facilities for our guests. We kindly ask that all guests respect the accommodation they are staying in, along with its furnishings and facilities. Damage, Breakage and Missing Items: Guests are fully responsible for any damages or missing items during their stay in the rooms at The Marquis of Granby, If a situation occurs where the property is damaged or stolen, the full costs of the replacement or repair will be charged to the card that was used to secure the booking. Special requirements/requests: Please inform us of any dietary or mobility requirements you many have prior to your stay. We will make every effort to fulfil any special request. However., please note that failure to do so does not constitute a breach of contract.
