The Black Mountain Lodge does not offer a 24 hour service. Therefore, if you anticipate arriving later than 4pm Sunday - Thursday and 6pm Friday & saturday please call on 01497 847 779 to advise your estimated time of arrival so we can ensure you have access to your room. Arrivals after 10pm will be regarded as no shows unless otherwise agreed with a member of staff. COVID-19 UPDATE During this time we will be running limited services to protect our staff and guests. All public areas will remain closed and breakfast will be provided in-room as a continental breakfast box. Your choice of Tea/Coffee and time will need to be pre arranged. Any dietary requirements will need to be communicated to us Our Staff will be carrying out appropriate cleaning measures in line with the government advice and wearing PPE when necessary. In order to assist us in these measures you will be asked to ventilate your rooms by opening windows prior to your departure. You will be expected to wear a face covering when entering & departing the building as well as in communal corridors. You will have the option to opt out of having your room refreshed. All outstanding amounts will be payable once the cancellation period ends. VAT is included in the cost at the current rate. No Pets Allowed. Free parking is available onsite. Late Checkouts and early check ins must be pre arranged and will carry an extra charge. ****Please Note that The Black mountain lodge is Bed & Breakfast only**** DIRECTIONS - Travelling east from Brecon head towards Hay-on-Wye on the A438/B4350 (approx 15 minute drive) Pass through the village of Glasbury-on-Wye, The lodge is located approx 500 metres, after the village, on the right hand side. - Travelling from Hereford follow the A438 towards Brecon (approx 40 minute drive). This will bring you to a T-Junction in the village of Glasbury-on-Wye, Turn left at the junction signposted Hay-on-Wye (petrol station on the corner). After approx 500 metres the lodge will be located on the right hand side. - Travelling from Hay-on-Wye follow the B4350 towards Brecon for approx 4 miles, the Lodge is situated on your left hand side before entering the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. BY TRAIN - Hereford is the nearest train station and is approx a 40 minute drive. There is a bus connection from Hereford which is approx a 5 minute walk from the train station (see below for bus details). BY BUS - From Hereford Bus Station catch stagecoach bus No.39 displayed Brecon. Ask the bus driver to stop at the Black Mountain Lodge, located on the left hand-side, before entering the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. Bus travel time is approx 1 hour. - From Brecon Bulwark catch stagecoach bus No.39 displayed Hereford. Ask the bus driver to stop at the Black Mountain Lodge approx 500 metres after the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. Bus travel time is approx 30 minutes. PRIVACY POLICY We treat security with the highest priority and treat this as seriously as our activities and accommodation services. We hold data about you to run our business efficiently and is not kept longer than is necessary. It is kept safe and securely and handled sensitively in line with your data protection rights. You have the right to ask to see what data we hold for you, to ask us to correct it and also to ask us to remove it from our database. We DO NOT share your data with any third party. We will only collect minimal necessary personal data to process your booking to ensure that we can provide you with a quality service and send you information regarding your activities and or accommodation. For example; • Your name & address – Personal or business • Telephone number and email address for correspondence • Card details to secure payment - which is then destroyed • Completed medical forms and disclaimers if necessary • Your Email address for future promotions We will ask to send you emails or post from time to time, but you always have the right to say no or opt-out. We do not, and will not, share any of your personal data.
