The Black Mountain Lodge does not offer a 24-hour service but self-check-in is available. We will leave your key and room information within the main entrance. This does not need to be prior arranged as we will do this automatically should you not of arrived before our departure. Our on-site restaurant is open, and we recommend booking where possible by emailing us via info@blackmountainlodge.co.uk Kitchen serving times: Monday Closed Tuesday Closed Wednesday Closed Thursday 6-9pm Friday 6-9pm Saturday 6-9pm Sunday 12-3pm A full cooked breakfast is included in your stay. This will be served in the restaurant between 8 - 9.30am. *We need to be made aware of any dietary requirements in advance. SELF CATERING COTTAGE The cottage is self-catering only and has a well-equipped kitchen. Maximum number of guests = 8 Strictly no loud music or parties Smoking at the rear of the property only using the ashtrays provided in the garden. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs The full cost for each stay must be settled 2 weeks prior to stay. DIRECTIONS - Travelling east from Brecon head towards Hay-on-Wye on the A438/B4350 (approx. 15-minute drive) Pass through the village of Glasbury-on-Wye, the lodge is located approx. 500 metres, after the village, on the right-hand side. - Travelling from Hereford follow the A438 towards Brecon (approx. 40-minute drive). This will bring you to a T-Junction in the village of Glasbury-on-Wye, Turn left at the junction signposted Hay-on-Wye (petrol station on the corner). After approx. 500 metres the lodge will be located on the right-hand side. - Travelling from Hay-on-Wye follow the B4350 towards Brecon for approx. 4 miles, the Lodge is situated on your left-hand side before entering the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. BY TRAIN - Hereford is the nearest train station and is approx. a 40-minute drive. There is a bus connection from Hereford which is approx. a 5-minute walk from the train station (see below for bus details). BY BUS - From Hereford Bus Station catch stagecoach bus No.39 displayed Brecon. Ask the bus driver to stop at the Black Mountain Lodge, located on the left hand-side, before entering the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. Bus travel time is approx. 1 hour. - From Brecon Bulwark catch stagecoach bus No.39 displayed Hereford. Ask the bus driver to stop at the Black Mountain Lodge approx. 500 metres after the village of Glasbury-on-Wye. Bus travel time is approx. 30 minutes. PRIVACY POLICY We treat security with the highest priority and treat this as seriously as our accommodation services. We hold data about you to run our business efficiently and is not kept longer than is necessary. It is kept safe and securely and handled sensitively in line with your data protection rights. You have the right to ask to see what data we hold for you, to ask us to correct it and also to ask us to remove it from our database. We DO NOT share your data with any third party.
