Important Covid-19 update. Please Read.... Thank you for booking to come and stay with us at The Halfway Bridge. We realise these are uncertain times, and everyone is worried about the current pandemic, so please read below to understand the measures we are putting in place for your safety whilst still being able to venture out of your home and enjoy a relaxed break. On arrival, please walk up to the main entrance and alert us of your arrival. Check-in times start from 3pm. This is so you do not have to queue with our guests that are dining, and to speed up your arrival process. • Your key/s will have just been sanitised, so may be a little damp when received. Although not advised, if you need help with your luggage, please can you leave your bags by your car and we will follow you across and deliver them to your room asap. • Please use the alcohol gel upon arrival, and upon entering or exiting your room. • If you would like to dine with us, then please make sure you ask us to book you a table. • Due to the restrictions in place, we are unable to swap or change rooms, unless a serious maintenance issue arises. • We would kindly ask that you understand we should not be turning down or servicing your room. We can add additional toiletries every morning once requested at breakfast time and leave them at your door. • Breakfast will still be included in your room rate and held in the restaurant. We are unable to provide the plush buffet as we did before, however we will still do our best. Some fresh fruit, individual cereal, yoghurt and a croissant will be offered, plus a full hot menu still available, so not too much has changed. • In the morning your bill will be added to your table, and we can take a card payment prior to you returning to your rooms. Check-out time is still 11am, and if you need help with this, please give us plenty of time to collect your luggage and deliver it to your car. We hope you enjoy your stay, and please feel free to render any feedback to us concerning these hopefully temporary measures, as we are always looking to improve our service to you. Kindest regards Halfway bridge team x ROOM AVAILABILITY: Check-in is available from 3pm and until 10pm at night. Staff are not present on-site through the evening and we are therefore unable to offer twenty-four hour check-in. Check-out is at 11am on the day of your departure. BREAKFAST: Breakfast is served from 8am until 10am. If you need to depart earlier, please request an ambient breakfast box containing Croissant, Fruit Box, Cereal Bar and Juice. DIRECTIONS: The Halfway Bridge is located on the A272 between Petworth & Midhurst, approximately three miles from either town centre. There is ample off road parking for all guests. Upon arrival, it's best to leave luggage in your vehicle whilst checking in at the bar. We can then show you to car parking nearer to your room which can be found about 200 metres from the main building.
