We are a working pub, but we will try and keep the noise to a minimum until closed. The building is also rather old there are a few creaking floor boards here and there. FINDING US We ask guests to be mindful that there are several Devonshire Arms within the local area, please make sure to pop in our full address into any SatNav or Apps. Our full address is: The Devonshire Arms Hotel, Nether End, Baslow, Derbyshire, DE45 1SR. Arrival and Departure Check in is between 3pm and 10pm, please let us know if you will be arriving later than 10pm as we do not have 24 hour check in. There may be occasions where, due to circumstances beyond our control, there may be some delay. Check out is at 11am. The hotel reserves the right to change your room if circumstances dictate that your room is non-operational, but we will do our utmost to facilitate your booking/s. Please be advised, that tables are not automatically booked for Guest's. If you would like any tables for the duration of your stay please call or email Alice on 01246 582 551 / info@devonshirebaslow.com and she will happily book one for you. Please note that due to COVID 19, during your stay your rooms will not be refreshed to reduce contact and ensure the safety of our guests and team. If you'd like any refills for the duration of your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our team whilst you are here and we will happily restock anything in your room. Terms and Conditions We send booking confirmation via email, if you have not received one please get in touch and we can check we have the correct email address and send you another confirmation. Accessibility There is no lift in the building so please telephone if stairs will be a problem. Non-availability We would only cancel your booking if there were problems beyond our control. Should this happen we will offer you alternative accommodation, however if this is not possible then we will offer you a full refund. Our liability will not extend beyond this refund. Children and Extra Beds Children are welcomed at The Devonshire Arms. All children under 16 years of age will be charged £12 per night for extra bed. The maximum number of extra beds in rooms is one. Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly forbidden in all of the public areas and guest bedrooms, if you are caught smoking you will be charged £250. Damages, Breakages and Unacceptable Behaviour If anything is damaged in your room when you arrive please report it to a member of staff as soon as possible. If you happen to break something during your stay with us please report it as soon as it happens. We will only charge you for repairs if the damage is significant. Pets Well behaved dogs are welcome in our rooms, there is just a £20 flat fee for the duration of the stay no matter the number of dogs. Please do not leave pets unattended in your room. If they damage something you could be charged. Packages For special rates and advanced purchase, the full payment will be taken within a few days of booking. These bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed. Please make sure you have adequate travel insurance in case you have to cancel your booking.
