The outstanding balance of your stay (if applicable) is payable on arrival, by cash or card.
We do have a lift to all floors, but please note that there are seven steps up to the front of the hotel (with handrail).
Smoking Policy: Please note that the entire building is non smoking. Damage caused or cleaning required as a result of smoking in the building with be charged a minimum of £50.
Hot Food Policy: We do not allow hot food to be taken into the guest bedrooms, but you are most welcome to take hot food and eat it in our basement dining room, where we will happily provide plates and cuttlery.
Damages, Breakages & Unacceptable Behaviour: Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or to its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages or damage but we will send an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant or deliberate. This includes extra cleaning costs & loss of revenue, if we are unable to re-let your room the night following your stay.
We also reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation if your unacceptable behaviour causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
The management will levy a charge of £35 per person, per night against any reservations where occupants exceed the number of agreed adults to a given room type.
Keys: Each room has a key fob containing a room key and a front door key. You must lock your room with your key when you exit your room, as it will not lock on its own, Loss of a key will incur a £20 fixed penalty fee.
Visitors: Your visitors are welcome to come into the hotel, but must not be in the guest bedrooms after 10 pm.
Check in is between 3pm and 9pm, please let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm and where possible we will arrange additional staff for a chargeable fee.
Whilst we try and have all rooms ready by 3pm there maybe occasions where, due to circumstances beyond our control, there may be some delay. If you plan to arrive before 3pm please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
The hotel reserves the right to change your room if circumstances dictate that the room is non-operational and we cannot guarantee the room as booked but we do our utmost to facilitate the booking.
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11am on the day of departure. Your bill for any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
