Your Stay

This room is full of character, on the second floor in the eaves of the pub with low archways and sloping ceilings, Egyptian cotton bed linen and a huge en-suite bathroom with bath. Due to the great age and Grade II* listing of the building for its historic significance, this room is quirky and delightful, but not terribly accessible to guests of less than full mobility up the winding staircase.

Located in the Old Cottage, we have one room at the Bear that can be twinned upon request. This room is full of character with comfy beds and Egyptian cotton bed linen. All rooms are en-suite. The Old Cottage rooms are on the first floor, with direct access to the car park and are dog friendly- please let us know you are bringing your doggy pal (£20 per dog per night charge applies).
The steps are wider and easier to navigate than the rooms above the pub.
