Overview

Set in beautiful Suffolk countryside, this grade II 16th-century Inn offers 11 luxury bedrooms that have individually designed furnishings, luxury bed linens, original artworks and are fully air-conditioned. There are 6 bedrooms in the Angel Inn main building and 5 bedrooms in The Stables annexe which is a few steps across the beautifully landscaped gardens and is also a beautiful heritage building.

All rooms are fully air-conditioned, have large flat screen televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have original exposed beams, whilst all have a private bathroom. As an extra special touch all guests can select their preferred pillows before arrival.

For lunch, dinner or breakfast, you can expect exceptional food and service in the unique surrounding of our 500-year-old buildings restaurant.

In the tranquil village of Stoke-by-Nayland, the Angel is set on a ridge overlooking the Stour Valley. The village church’s grand tower appears in many of John Constable’s paintings.

Our Classic Superking/ Twin room features either a super king bed or a twin bed. Please do let us know which set-up you require. Alongside an ensuite bathroom equipped with a shower over the bath. These well-appointed rooms provide all the essentials for a pleasant and relaxing experience. Such as customised air conditioning & heating, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Classic Room

Our Classic Rooms offer a comfortable and elegant stay, featuring a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom equipped with either a small walk-in shower or a shower over the bath. Enjoy customizable air conditioning and heating, as well as underfloor heating in the bathroom for added comfort. Additional amenities include a Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making facilities, TV, and WiFi for your convenience.

Superior Room

Each of our Superior Rooms is thoughtfully designed with comfort and luxury in mind. Every room includes an ensuite bathroom, featuring either a spacious walk-in shower or a walk-in shower paired with a separate roll-top bath for a truly indulgent experience. One of our Superior Rooms is equipped with a lavish super king-size bed, while the others offer plush king-size beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For your comfort, all rooms feature customisable air conditioning and heating, underfloor heating, a Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making facilities, a flat-screen TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Deluxe Room

Our deluxe rooms, located on the first floor of the stable annex, offer a blend of comfort and style. Each room features a luxurious king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. For added indulgence, a roll-top bath is located within the bedroom, separated by frosted privacy glass.
