GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS These terms and conditions apply when you reserve a room at one of Hall & Woodhouse’s Houses. You must accept these terms and conditions when you make a reservation. A booking is the reservation made for overnight accommodation at one of our Houses, inclusive of any other elements defined within the description given for that booking, such as breakfast or a welcome drink, or perhaps just the accommodation element only (room only). All rates quoted are subject to availability and alteration regardless of the rate or product booked. All promotional rates are subject to promotional room and rate availability and may be subject to other restrictions, for example a minimum or maximum length of stay. The number of rooms made available on any promotional rate are limited and may be withdrawn at any time without prior written notice. You must be at least 18 years old to book a room at one of the Hall & Woodhouse Houses. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information, Hall & Woodhouse does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to change information and descriptions of listed Houses and products offered for sale. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them every time you make a reservation. The terms and conditions applying to your reservation will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation and will depend on the type of rate booked, room type and product purchased. Should you have any requirements in terms of accessibility please let us know at the time of making your booking so we can make provision for your particular needs or those of the person(s) concerned, or advise if we are unable to make such provision. If details are not provided to us at the time of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the booking should we be unable to make appropriate provision for a specific need or needs. If you have a booking through a third-party agent not controlled by us, there may be alternative terms and conditions which apply to the booking and you should refer to those terms and conditions should you have any queries. We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance cover to ensure you are adequately covered for unforeseen circumstances affecting your overnight night stay and or trip. ROOM PRICES Hall & Woodhouse adopts dynamic pricing and the price of our rooms fluctuates based on demand. Room prices quoted are based on a per night rate and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate at the time of your reservation. If the rate of VAT changes between the date of your reservation and the date of your stay, we reserve the right to adjust the rate of VAT to the price you pay. The price you pay is the price quoted to you at the time you make your reservation. We offer a range of accommodation tariffs as are noted below:. Flexible Tariff: Booking a Flexible Rate directly with Hall & Woodhouse will require a valid credit card or debit card at the time of booking for your scheduled arrival date. The credit card will be charged 72 hrs or 48 hrs prior to arrival in line with cancellation terms and conditions All outstanding charges are to be settled on departure. On arrival, guests will be required to present the credit card they intend to use to settle their account. You are entitled to amend your booking prior to the cancellation window, without penalty. Booking Cancellation policy: Should you need to cancel your booking you must let us know before 3pm up to 72 hours prior to the date of arrival or the full cost of your booking will be charged in the form of a cancellation fee to the credit or debit card you provided during booking. In the event of a non-arrival, (a no-show), the full value of the Booking will be charged. Please note The Crown and The Albion cancellation terms are 24hrs The Duchess of Cornwall cancellation terms are 48 hrs Pre-Paid tariff You are required to provide a credit or debit card at the time of booking. Your card will be charged in full for the stated value of your booking. Booking Cancellation policy: These tariffs are non-refundable, non-transferable and no amendments are permitted. In the event that you cancel your booking, your pre-payment will be forfeited. In the event of a non-arrival, (a no-show), your pre-payment will be forfeited. Your card will be charged in full for the stated value of your booking. Packages and Promotions: From time-to-time Hall & Woodhouse may make specific packages and promotions available through a variety of channels of their choosing. Promotional rates are fully payable at the point of reservation, and are non-cancellable, non-transferrable, non-changeable and non-refundable Where food, drinks or other items are included in any such package or promotion, any inclusive value, limit or range will be clearly stated. Any other items or surcharges will be charged as advertised. A promotional rate may have its own terms and conditions, which will be outlined when booking and included in your confirmation email. These terms and conditions supersede those outlined here. Children: Hall & Woodhouse are a family friendly business. Children aged 12 years and under are welcome to stay in the same room as their parents/carers/guardians for a charge, as is stated at the time of booking. This offer is subject to the availability of a room large enough to accommodate the booking. Any food, drink or other services provided will be charged as taken in line with the applicable menu pricing. Due to the nature of our Houses, some rooms can accommodate cots and fold away beds. We do offer family rooms in some of our Houses but not all. We make this clear on our website and at the time of booking. Dogs: We welcome well-behaved dogs to all our Houses. There will be a charge, as stated at the time of booking. Not all our bedrooms allow dogs so please check at time of making a reservation Dogs should not be left unaccompanied in the room and we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by dogs during their stay. Parking: Most hotels have parking available to our guests, please contact the Hotel to confirm details, but parking is not guaranteed. The hotel does not accept responsibility for damage to, theft from or theft of vehicles parked on hotel premises Third-party Bookings: We work with a select range of third-party booking agents such as Booking.com, Expedia and others Any cancellations, refunds or amendments to bookings made via third parties can only be made directly with the third party. Unfortunately, we cannot action cancellations, refunds or amend any reservations made via third party booking agents. Smoking: In order to protect both our guests and staff from the dangers of second-hand smoke, Hall & Woodhouse operate a fully 'no-smoking' policy. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the hotel including bedrooms, and any guest found to be smoking will be charged a fee equivalent to one nights accommodation in order to allow for additional cleaning. Hotel Polices: Check-in and Check-out Our priority is to have your room ready from 3pm. You are kindly asked to vacate your room by 11am on your day of departure. If bedrooms are not vacated by 11am on the day of departure, a charge may be made by the House. Damage: You will be liable for any damage you cause to our rooms, and we will charge you for all costs to remedy any such damage. We will try to ensure that we remedy any damage in a cost-effective way, but we cannot guarantee this, for example, where damage needs to be repaired in an emergency or during unsociable hours or over a holiday period. Behaviour: Guests are asked to be respectful of others in terms of behaviour, and particularly levels of noise. Management reserves the right to terminate the booking in the event of non-compliance. Liability: Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the hotel, the hotels liability to the guest is limited to the price of the booking.
