Ravenstone Manor is a generous and character full 19th century manor house in three hectares of grounds backing onto the foothills of Skiddaw and looking west across the valley to Bassenthwaite lake and the fells beyond.

* CHECK-IN ONLY BETWEEN 3:00 AND 8:00 pm - we cannot accept check-ins or left luggage at other times

* CHECK OUT - 8:30 to 10.30 am.

* CHILDREN - we have no facilities for and cannot accommodate children under the age of 12.

* DOGS - we are fully dog friendly so there may be dogs in any of the public rooms. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog. There will be a charge of £10 per dog per night.

* WI-FI - our broadband is limited by our location so you may not be able to do more than access your emails

* SMOKING/DAMAGE - if we find evidence that smoking has taken place in any guest room a charge of £250 will be incurred to pay for the deep clean of the room and any damage to the carpet, furniture or furnishings will be charged at replacement/repair cost.

Your credit/debit card details have been taken to secure your booking. If cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to check in, there will be no charges. If cancellation is made within 7 days prior to the day of check in or in the event of a no show the full charge will be applied to your card.
