Cancellation Policy

4 Stay and Dine Packages (a) The prices of our Stay and Dine packages are shown on our website. Unless otherwise stated, the price of the package includes one night’s stay at The Angel Inn, Stoke-by-Nayland in the room category stated, dinner in our restaurant on the day of arrival and breakfast on the day of departure. The price of the package excludes all drinks (including wine, water, tea, coffee) and also excludes any special items or supplementary charges, additional room service or additional items requested or purchased by you during your stay with us and all service and gratuity charges. Unless you purchase a Stay and Dine package which specifically includes the Tasting Menu, any tasting menu is excluded. If you purchase a Stay and Dine package for more than one night’s stay, breakfast for each day of your stay (other than the day of arrival) will normally be included. The package will indicate which additional dinner and/or lunch is included if any. (b) All Stay and Dine packages must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Once your booking has been made and accepted, it is non-refundable. If you subsequently cancel your booking, we shall not make any refund but, provided you cancel 7 days or more before the start of your booking, we will offer you the ability to transfer the value of your booking towards the cost of a new booking on a future date in the form of a Booking Credit. (c) If you cancel your booking and receive a Booking Credit, you must use your Booking Credit within 1 year of the date of our email confirming your Booking Credit. We cannot extend the validity of your Booking Credit, so please re-book as soon as possible. All new bookings using a Booking Credit are subject to availability and to current prices and terms and conditions at the time of your new booking. If prices increase between your original booking and the use of your Booking Credit you will be required to pay the difference in price. (d) Any Booking Credit is personal to the named recipient and cannot be transferred, sold or given to any other person. (e) If you make a new booking using your Booking Credit and then cancel again, you will lose your Booking Credit and no refund, discount or new booking credit will be given. (f) Please tell us at least 72 hours prior to your arrival if you, or anyone in your party has any allergies, food intolerances or special dietary requirements.
