Combining contemporary style with the welcoming character of the Wheatley Arms, our individually designed King Rooms provide a comfortable base for your stay in Ilkley.

Each room features one king-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower, together with the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Warm colours, tactile fabrics and thoughtful furnishings create an inviting space in which to unwind.

The exact size, layout, outlook and shower style may differ as each room has its own individual character. Both dog-friendly and non-dog-friendly rooms are available within this category, so please make us aware if a dog-friendly room is required.

Our comfortable Twin Rooms are ideal for friends, colleagues or family members travelling together and looking for their own sleeping space. Individually styled using warm, natural colours, soft textures and contemporary furnishings, each room offers a relaxing place to return to after exploring Ilkley and the beautiful Yorkshire surroundings.

Your room will be prepared with two individual single beds, providing a comfortable and practical arrangement for two guests sharing. Each room also benefits from a private en-suite bathroom and the essential amenities needed for an enjoyable overnight stay.

Relax and unwind in one of our beautifully styled Super King Rooms, offering a comfortable and characterful base for your stay in Ilkley. Designed with warm, natural tones, soft furnishings and thoughtful finishing touches, each room provides a welcoming space to settle into after a day exploring the town and surrounding Yorkshire countryside.

Your room will be prepared with one spacious super king-size bed, making this room type an ideal choice for couples or solo guests looking for a little extra room to stretch out. Each room also includes a private en-suite bathroom and the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

As our bedrooms are individually designed, the precise layout, outlook and bathroom style may vary. Selected rooms also feature additional touches such as a Juliet balcony or seating area, although these features are not available in every room and cannot be guaranteed.

For a stay that feels extra special, our most premium room offers generous space, distinctive design and plenty of thoughtful touches. A beautiful four-poster king-size bed takes centre stage, surrounded by warm lighting, rich textures and contemporary furnishings that create a characterful and inviting place to relax.

The comfortable seating area includes a double sofa bed, providing additional sleeping space and making the room a flexible choice for couples, families or friends travelling together. The room also features a Juliet balcony, allowing you to open the doors and enjoy some fresh Yorkshire air.

The spacious en-suite bathroom is a standout feature, complete with a statement freestanding bath for a long, leisurely soak and a separate shower when you’re ready to refresh. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a special occasion or simply a stay with a little more indulgence, this room showcases the Wheatley Arms at its very best.

The smaller of our rooms but no less delightful, with wet rooms and all the facilities of our larger rooms.

Unfortunately, this room type is not dog friendly.

Nothing has been spared in our twelve individually styled bedrooms. Choose from romantic loft style to luxurious spacious suites. The rooms have sensational bathrooms with power showers or baths and some with freestanding tubs which definitely put bathing back in fashion! All this and flat screen televisions and, in addition, there are in room refrigerators, fluffy bathrobes and a whole host of complimentary toiletries. The Wheatley does bedrooms beautifully.

In Guests are usually able to check-in from 3.00pm. However, during peak periods it may be later. We would be grateful if you could advise us of a late arrival.

If you particularly request an early check-in we will endeavour to have your room ready if we have sufficient notice in advance.

Special Request: If you have any special requests i.e. Champagne, Flowers, Chocolates, Fruit Hampers, please do not hesitate to call us in advance.

Out Guests are expected to check out between 9:00am and 11:00am. Please advise for earlier departures.

Cancellation Policy - we will charge the full cost of the first night if you do not cancel your booking by noon the day before arrival.

Booking more than 3 rooms? Please note that we have a different cancellation policy for group bookings - you must let us know up to 14 days before if you are unable to attend your reservation. Any cancellations within 14 days of your booking date are subject to a charge of the first night's stay across all rooms from the head booker's card.
