By placing a booking with us (the property owner/ his/her/their representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking. To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission. To secure bookings made directly with The Hope & Anchor, we require validated payment details in the form of a credit or debit card. 'Bed & Breakfast' Booking Terms - You can cancel or amend your booking up to 14 days in advance of the date of arrival without penalty. After this time, the full amount will be charged to the credit or debit card provided at the point of booking and the amount charged becomes non-refundable and non-transferable. If you would like to pay with an alternative method other than the card details provided, please contact us prior to 14 days before your arrival date, to make payment. Payments can be made online / over the phone using debit/credit card or BACS. We do not take cash deposits. 'Private Hire Rate' Booking Terms - A non-refundable non-transferable booking deposit of £200 is required to secure your booking. The remainder will be due for payment 30 days prior to your arrival date. If you have booked with a third party such as booking.com, you may be liable to different payment terms and cancellation policy, which will be outlined by that third party at the point of booking.  For guests bringing pets, dogs are allowed in the lower bar area of the pub, and we have 3 pet-friendly rooms available. However, there is a cleaning surcharge that must be paid at £15 per animal per night. We withhold the right to charge a further additional amount depending on the condition of the room following check-out. If you wish to bring any other pets to the Hope & Anchor, please speak to a member of staff in advance of travel or before making your booking. All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners.
